Delhi’s air quality saw a surprising improvement within just 24 hours, as the AQI dropped from a “very poor” 373 on Thursday to a “poor” 218 on Friday, the sharpest single-day change in weeks. Experts said the sudden boost was due to stronger winds that helped disperse pollutants, along with slightly better weather conditions. However, they warned that pollution levels could rise again if calm conditions return.
