Decision Support System resumes sharing data but...

Delhi’s air pollution forecasting system, Decision Support System (DSS), has started sharing data again after a technical glitch, but the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) is not yet using its information for decisions because the model relies on old emission data. The system estimates how much different local and regional sources contribute to Delhi’s PM2.5 levels, including transport and industry, but experts say its forecasts are limited and need updated emissions and methods to be more accurate and helpful for managing pollution.
