Capital chokes as AQI levels hit max limit

Delhi’s air quality became extremely poor on Sunday, with the AQI reaching 500 or more at several monitoring stations. Thick smog covered large parts of the city, making the air unsafe to breathe. Experts and authorities warned people to stay indoors, as the pollution posed serious health risks.
