Delhi maps 62 congestion hot spots; multi-agency plan to ease traffic, cut pollution

Authorities in Delhi have identified 62 key congestion hot spots across the city where traffic jams are a major problem.

To tackle this, they have created a multi-agency plan. This means different government departments will work together to ease the traffic flow at these specific locations.

The initiative aims not only to cut down journey times but also to reduce the vehicle pollution that comes from idling in traffic jams.
