Delhi sees most polluted beginning to Oct in 6 yrs

Delhi has logged its worst air quality for the start of October in six years, recording an average Air Quality Index (AQI) of 174 over the first four days. A dry spell, combined with local emissions like road dust, construction, and traffic, has caused pollution levels to creep up. Officials have already spotted several environmental violations across key roads, whilst experts warn that seasonal crop burning and upcoming festive fireworks are set to make matters worse.
