Delhi’s air quality improves after days of ‘very poor’ air

After four days of “very poor” air, Delhi’s air quality improved on Friday, with the 24-hour average Air Quality Index (AQI) dropping from 305 to 275. Some monitoring stations showed readings at 290 at 9 am, 286 at 11 am and around 272 by 6 pm. However, the station at Anand Vihar remained in the “severe” category, with an AQI of 407 by 6 pm, showing that the improvement was uneven.
