Delhi’s air quality worsened sharply, with Wazirpur, Rohini and Ashok Vihar recording the highest pollution levels, as the AQI touched the maximum limit at several stations. The toxic air was caused by calm winds and cold weather trapping pollutants near the ground. Health experts warned people to avoid outdoor activity, as breathing conditions were extremely dangerous.
