Electric vehicle registrations in Delhi have increased by about 29%, showing growing adoption of cleaner transport. However, petrol vehicles are still rising and make up the majority of registrations, meaning the shift to electric is still slow. Experts say EV growth is encouraging, but it has not yet reduced the overall share of petrol and other fuel-based vehicles.
