Delhi EV registrations rise 29%, petrol vehicles retain dominance

Electric vehicle registrations in Delhi increased by 29% in 2025–26, driven by policy support and incentives. However, petrol vehicles continue to dominate the market, making up over 70% of total registrations, showing that the shift to cleaner transport is growing but still gradual.
