For Delhi, It’s Darkest Before And After Dawn

Delhi’s air pollution reached dangerous levels, with the Air Quality Index hitting the maximum level of 500 for long hours, especially during the night and early morning. Many monitoring stations recorded severe air quality, and data from some areas was missing due to extremely high pollution. Experts said high levels of particulate matter, poor wind movement and weather conditions trapped pollutants close to the ground. Authorities warned that air quality could remain very poor to severe in the coming days, raising serious health concerns for residents.
