Gurugram Breathes 40% Better Air than Delhi on Paper - What's the Reality?

Even though air pollution is bad across the Delhi-NCR region, Gurugram’s official air quality readings have often been about 40 % lower than Delhi’s, meaning Gurugram’s air has appeared to be less polluted than Delhi’s when compared by Air Quality Index (AQI) figures. Experts say this difference is partly due to winds, geography and where monitoring stations are placed, which can make Gurugram’s measured pollution look better, but the air can still feel unhealthy and smoggy in both places when pollution is high.
