India planea uso de drones para combatir la crisis de smog

India’s capital and surrounding region has been struggling with very bad smog each winter, and officials have unveiled plans to use special drones that fly over pollution hotspots and spray water mist to try to clear particles from the air as part of efforts to tackle the smog crisis. Experts, however, warn that this kind of drone spraying is likely just a temporary “band-aid” approach and not a long-term solution to the deep-rooted causes of air pollution, such as vehicle emissions, industry and crop burning.
