According to a report by the Nikkei, the Delhi government—which administers India's capital territory—is intensifying efforts to combat severe local air pollution. A key measure is the launch of an electric vehicle support scheme worth 150 billion rupees (approximately $1.57 billion), aimed primarily at tackling vehicle emissions, a major source of the pollution.
