Pollution shift: Air quality dashboard shows rise in Ozone as NO2, CO decline

A new air quality dashboard shows that Delhi’s pollution pattern is changing over time. While harmful gases like nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) and carbon monoxide (CO) have been gradually declining, ozone levels have been rising and are becoming a bigger concern.

The data also shows clear seasonal trends: particle pollution (PM2.5 and PM10) is worst in winter, but ozone peaks in summer due to strong sunlight and chemical reactions in the air.

Overall, the study highlights that even though some pollutants are reducing, new challenges like increasing ozone mean air pollution in Delhi is still a serious issue.
