Study of seasonal pollutant trends key to tackling air pollution: Data

A long-term study of air pollution data in Indian cities found that different pollutants rise and fall in different seasons. In Delhi, PM2.5 and PM10 levels are highest in winter, while ozone peaks in summer. Experts say pollution must be studied pollutant by pollutant so authorities can take more targeted action instead of relying on general air quality trends.
