India’s truck fleet is getting old, with a large number of vehicles over 12 years old. This is actually creating a positive effect, as many of these trucks will need to be replaced soon, leading to steady growth in the commercial vehicle market.

In simple terms, while ageing trucks are a problem, they are also likely to boost demand for new trucks and support the industry’s growth over the next few years.
