While EV registration has shown growth, particularly in commercial segments like e-rickshaws (three-wheelers for goods), the volume of newly registered traditional fuel-based two-wheelers and private cars remains overwhelmingly high. The lack of a major "dent" is attributed to factors like the high cost of EVs, inadequate charging infrastructure, and the overall dominance of the existing traditional fuel ecosystem.
