Air quality dips to very poor in parts as winter approaches

Mumbai's air quality has become "poor" and "very poor" as winter approaches. The levels of harmful tiny particles (PM2.5 and PM10) have risen sharply in areas like BKC, Sion, and Worli.

Experts say this happens every winter because cooler air traps pollution from cars, construction, and industry. They warn that the city's air quality is likely to get even worse in the coming weeks.
