As Delhi’s air turns ‘severe’, emergency curbs kick in under Grap Stage 3

Due to Delhi's air quality turning "severe," emergency measures have now been activated.

These new rules, known as "GRAP Stage 3," include:

  • A ban on most private construction and demolition work.

  • Restrictions on the operation of certain types of lorries.

  • The possibility of closing schools and implementing odd-even traffic rules for cars.

Authorities are taking these steps to try and reduce the dangerous levels of pollution and protect public health.
