In New Delhi, authorities have tried using mist sprays — including from drones — to lower the amount of dust and tiny particles in the air as part of efforts to tackle very bad air pollution, especially in pollution hot-spots where smog and dust build up in winter; the fine water droplets are intended to make dust settle out of the air so it doesn’t float around as much.
