Indian capital plans drone flights to combat smog crisis
New Delhi’s government has planned to fly special drones that spray water mist over polluted areas in an attempt to clear the city’s smog-choked air. The idea is part of a trial to see if drones can help reduce dust and tiny harmful particles in the atmosphere, but many experts say this is only a temporary “band-aid” solution and does not address the main causes of pollution, such as emissions from vehicles, industry and construction.
