Delhi likely to end year with no ‘good’ air days

Delhi is expected to end the year without a single “good” air quality day, even though the city had heavy rain during the monsoon, because the Air Quality Index (AQI) rarely fell into the safe range and stayed mostly in the moderate to polluted categories all year. This means residents have hardly ever breathed truly clean air in 2025, showing how persistent poor air quality has become in the capital.
