Delhi pushes for artificial rain again, experts advise against it

Delhi’s government has again pushed for artificial rain (cloud seeding) to try to reduce the city’s very bad air pollution by making rain wash out harmful particles from the air. However, experts have warned against relying on it, saying cloud seeding usually doesn’t work well in Delhi’s dry winter skies and is not a proven or long-term solution to the pollution problem.
