Delhi’s air quality slips to ‘very poor’ as CPCB faces server glitch
The air quality in Delhi fell to the “very poor” category, with a 24-hour average AQI of 315 on Sunday, rising from 292 the previous day. A technical glitch at Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) delayed release of data and prevented updates on its app and website, although the monitoring stations were still working. Transport emissions and cross-boundary pollution were significant contributors to the deterioration, while stubble burning accounted for just 3.71 % of the city’s PM2.5 on that day.
