Farmers in Punjab turn to stubble recycling as air pollution concerns rise

Farmers in many parts of Punjab have started recycling their crop stubble instead of burning it. They use machines to collect the leftover straw and send it to plants that make biogas, bio-fertiliser and other useful products. This change is helping reduce air pollution during the winter season. The government is also supporting the move by providing machines and encouraging farmers to use cleaner methods.
