Free services at electric, CNG-based crematoriums

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has decided to make cremation free at all electric and CNG-based crematoriums in Delhi. The move is aimed at encouraging people to shift away from traditional wood-based cremation, which causes more air pollution and costs more. Officials said the step will reduce emissions, improve air quality, and make cremation more affordable for families.
