सरकार व एमसीडी का निगरानी पर रहा जोर, फिर भी प्रदूषण पर नियंत्रण कमजोर
Despite the Delhi government and MCD deploying over 1,800 monitoring teams to tackle dust, trash burning, and industrial smoke, air pollution control remains weak. Even though air quality showed slight improvement in 2025 compared to 2024, pollutant levels (PM 10 and PM 2.5) are still far above safe national standards. Furthermore, the MCD spent less than 20% of its allocated National Clean Air Programme funds, raising serious questions about the proper use of budgets, enforcement on the ground, and accountability of officials.
