GRAP-4 to remain in Delhi as SC defers withdrawal of curbs

The Supreme Court of India has directed that Stage IV restrictions of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) must continue to be enforced in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR). This decision came after the court deferred the Commission for Air Quality Management's (CAQM) plan to withdraw these curbs, citing that air quality levels were still "severe" and not showing a consistent improving trend.
