How Gaps In Data, Monitoring Are Crippling Pollution Control Boards

The report highlights problems such as irregular calibration of monitoring stations, poor auditing of air quality data, and weak implementation of standards. It recommends better technology, regular quality checks, improved laboratories, stronger coordination with the Central Pollution Control Board, and the use of artificial intelligence to improve air quality monitoring and management.
