HSPCB directs 193 societies to install smog guns

The Haryana State Pollution Control Board has ordered 193 housing societies in Gurugram to install smog guns to control dust and air pollution. The step aims to reduce PM10 and PM2.5 levels during winter, when pollution is usually worse. Societies have been asked to operate the smog guns regularly and follow other pollution control rules, with officials warning of action if directions are not followed.
