Nova Deli fecha escolas e estaleiros de construção devido à poluição atmosférica

New Delhi closed schools and stopped construction work after air pollution in the city reached very dangerous levels in the winter, with thick smog spreading over the capital and making the air unsafe to breathe. Authorities also banned non-essential trucks from entering the city and asked vulnerable people, like children and the elderly, to stay inside because the toxic haze was so bad that it hurt visibility and posed serious health risks.
