Lko residents may lose 6.5 years of life expectancy due to air pollution: Report

A new report warns that people living in Lucknow could lose up to 6.5 years of their life expectancy because of air pollution. PM2.5 levels in the city remain far above World Health Organisation limits, mainly due to vehicle emissions, traffic congestion and rising fuel consumption. The study also highlights poor public transport and heavy dependence on private vehicles.
