Mercury dips to 16.2°C as pollutant levels increase

Mumbai woke up to its coldest morning this season as temperatures dropped to 16.2°C. At the same time, pollution levels increased in many areas, with PM2.5 and ozone causing “poor” air quality. Doctors said more people are coming in with breathing problems because of the cold air and pollution.
