मुंबईत ५०० मीटरच्या पुढे डोळ्यांना दिसेना
Visibility in Mumbai dropped to below 500 metres due to dense fog conditions, making it difficult for residents to see clearly beyond short distances. The situation was reported across several parts of the city, especially during the early morning hours.
According to officials, the air quality index remained in the moderate category. However, pollution levels have increased due to ongoing construction activities and reduced wind movement. The combination of fog and pollutants has further affected visibility across Mumbai and nearby regions.
Meanwhile, the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board took action against polluting units and ordered the closure of four ready-mix concrete plants. A fine of Rs 1.98 crore was also recovered as part of the enforcement drive. Authorities have stated that strict monitoring will continue to control pollution levels in the city.
