Pollution allocation shows lack of seriousness: Experts

Experts have criticised the Union Budget for not allocating enough funds to control pollution, despite worsening air quality in many Indian cities. Although the government has increased the budget slightly, specialists say it is still lower than required and does not match the scale of the problem. They also pointed out gaps in support for clean air programmes and electric vehicle infrastructure, raising concerns about the seriousness of the government’s response to air pollution.
