A thick layer of toxic smog stayed over Delhi, causing many air quality monitoring stations to show ‘severe’ pollution levels. Calm weather made the dirty air stay close to the ground, so pollution rose over the whole day. This kind of smog can make breathing hard and is dangerous for health.
