Scientists have confirmed that the ash from the Ethiopian volcano will not worsen the air pollution in Delhi. The wind is blowing the volcanic plume away from India, towards Africa.

However, the eruption has caused significant disruption to air travel in that region of Africa, leading to flight cancellations and delays.
