हवाओं की 15 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार ने शहर को दी सांसें
Rohtak witnessed a short-term improvement in air quality after strong winds blowing at a speed of around 15 kilometres per hour helped clear pollutants from the city. According to experts, the improvement was caused by favourable weather conditions and not by any major change in pollution control measures.
Data showed that the Air Quality Index dropped to moderate levels for a brief period, offering relief to residents after days of poor air quality. However, specialists cautioned that this improvement may not last, as pollution levels are likely to rise again once wind speed decreases.
Environmental experts stressed that such temporary relief highlights the lack of a strong pollution control system. They said long-term improvement is possible only through strict control of vehicle emissions, construction dust and industrial pollution. Without structural reforms, Rohtak’s air quality will continue to depend on weather conditions rather than effective governance.
