More than 85,000 vehicles entered and exited the region in just 72 hours, prompting Shimla Police to issue an urgent traffic advisory. Visitors travelling to destinations such as Kufri, Mashobra, Naldehra, Narkanda, Hattu Peak, and Fagu have been advised to use the Shoghi-Mehli-Dhalli bypass route to avoid city congestion. Authorities expect tourist numbers to rise further during the summer vacation season.
