Sonipat has recorded the worst air quality in the country, with pollution levels remaining extremely severe. Due to very low wind speed, smog has settled heavily over the city, and there is no sign of improvement for the next five days.

For the first time in eight years, the air quality in Rohtak during November has become extremely dangerous. The average PM2.5 level has reached 130, which is the highest since 2019, when it was 107.5.

Air pollution in Rohtak has reached an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 323, causing distress to residents. Symptoms like stinging eyes, irritation, and difficulty breathing have been reported.
