Delhi Sees Cleanest Early-November Air In Three Years

Between 1 and 15 November, Delhi recorded its lowest average Air Quality Index (AQI) in three years at 348, compared with 367 in 2024 and 376 in 2023.
Despite the improvement, the air quality remained in the “very poor” category and is still hazardous for breathing.
Experts note that the modest dip may be due to factors like early Diwali, reduced stubble-burning, better wind conditions and even water-sprinkling near monitoring stations — but warn against taking it as a sign of real clean-air improvement.
