PM2.5: Sharp fall till 2020, then stagnation

The article says Gurgaon’s air quality improved a lot over the past decade, especially before 2020. PM2.5 pollution levels fell by more than half, mainly due to cleaner fuel policies, tighter pollution rules and reduced activity during the Covid lockdown period. However, since 2020, improvement has mostly stopped, and pollution levels are still far above safe limits. Experts say stronger long-term action is needed to reduce traffic, construction and industrial pollution.
